Sightseeing tour of Bucharest, including: The Vtad the Impaler Old Princely Court; the Archbishop’s Church and Palace, the Palace of Parliament (also called the „House of the People”), former residence of another „Dracula from Carpathians” – Nicolae Ceausescu; second largest building in the world, after the building of US Pentagon. Departure to Targoviste. Visit the ruins of the former Princely Court and the Chindia Tower. Accommodation at 3* hotel in Targoviste. Dinner at a Romanian restaurant in Targoviste (HanulTargovetilor) | 3Day | Breakfast. Leaving to Curtea de Arges where visit the Princely Church and found out about the Legend of Master Manole in the sculptural landscape of Neagoe Basarab’ monastery. The mountain trail leads us to the Poenari Stronghold, rebuilt by Vlad the Impaler as an „eagle nest”, on the edges of Fagaras Mountains, at the hystorical border between Wallachia and Transylvania. Departure to Sibiu, crossing the Carpathians through the Olt narrow pass. On the way, visit Cozia Monastery, hystorical monument from 14th century. Accommodation at 3* hotel in Sibiu. Dinner in the „Old Wine-cellar” Restaurant in Sibiu. | 4Day | Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Sibiu by foot, including: the Bruckental Art Museum, the Stairs Passage, the Liar’s Bridge, the Main Square and the Little Square, the Stairs’ Passage, the mediaeval fortress’ walls, the Museum of Pharmacy. Lunch in Imparatul Romanilor Hotel (3*) in Sibiu. Departure to Sighisoara. On the way, visit the fortified church from Biertan, included in UNESCO World Heritage List. Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel, near Sighisoara. | 5Day | Breakfast. Visit the only medieval citadel in Europe that is still fully inhabited /mentioned for first time in 1280 as „Castrum Sex”/. Detailed tour of the citadel, including the Tower Museum, the Cover Stairs, the Church on the Hill. Feel the attractions of the Torture Room and visit the Mediaeval Weapons Collection. Visit the house where is supposing that Vlad „Dracula”, father of Vlad the Impaler was born (now a cozy restaurant). City Break. Departure to Bistrita. Lunch in „Coroana de Aur” – the „Golden Crown” Restaurant, the same restaurant as the one in which Jonathan Harker, the principal character in Bram Stacker’s novell, ate before the arrival to the Dracula’s Castle! Special „Jonathan Harker” lunch. Approaching to the Dracula’s House, the horizon became dark and the forests became cold and dark. The wolves eyes are the only lights into the darkness. Finally, arrive to the major point of the journey: the Borgo Pass, where the Dracula’s Castle is waiting for the Count’ Special Guests! Dinner and accommodation at „Dracula’s Castle” Hotel, 5*. Festive Dracula dinner with gypsy singers and firecamp. Rest in peace in the vampire’s nest! | 6Day | After breakfast, leaving the Dracula’s House looking behind to be sure that no monster is following you. On the way to Piatra Neamt, we follow the border of Izvorul Muntelui Lake and experience a short break at the dam. Accommodation at 3* hotel Central in Piatra Neamt. Dinner at the cozy restaurant „Terasa Gospodinelor”. | 7Day | After breakfast, continue to Bicaz Gorges (the most impressive gorges in Romania). Short break for lunch in the „Red Lake” Resort (natural lake, unique in Romania). Accommodation and dinner at 3* hotel, in Brasov, city of merchants. | 8Day | Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Brasov, including the Schei Gate and District (architectural reservation), the Black Church (the biggest gothic monument in Brasov), St. Nicholas Cathedral, The Old Town Council Square and building, Ecaterina’s Gate). Lunch in Brasov in The Old Town Council Square, at „Gustari” Restaurant. Visit Bran Castle, another Dracula’s favorite site. Sinaia. Accommodation at 4* hotel. Visit the lulia Hasdeu Memorial House in Campina (well known for its spiritism sessions) and the Snagov monastery which shelter the tombstone of Vlad the Impaler.
